Nyhavn means a New Harbor, it is a 17th-century waterfront, canal and entertainment district, one of most beautiful areas of the city. It's famous for brightly colored 17th and early 18th century townhouses and bars, cafes and restaurants. The canal harbors many historical wooden ships, which are definitely worth seeing.
Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid at the seashore is something you shouldn't miss. Bases on Andersen's story character; she appeared here in the beginning of the 20th century and since then had become the symbol of Copenhagen and Denmark. She's sitting on the stone not far from the castle, observing with a little sadness the wide panorama of the bay.

Christiansborg Palace

Christiansborg Palaceis a palace and government building on the islet of Slotsholmen . It is the seat of the Danish Parliament, the Danish Prime Minister's Office and the Supreme Court of Denmark. Also, several parts of the palace are used by the Danish king, including the Royal Reception Rooms, the Palace Chapel and the Royal Stables. The palace can be visited with the pre booked tour.
Amalienborg castle

Amalienborgis the home of the Danish royal family. The palace is named after Amalia, the wife of Friederich the 3rd, who was the first one to here. It's unique because it isn't just a building, but a whole plaza, composed of the identical buildings, each named after different kings of Denmark with Friederich 5th statue in the middle. The green embankment in front of the palace complex had the great view on the Ekvipagemestervej opera theater.

Meet your guide and driver outside the main port gate

We start our tour with exploring local culture & history while driving. Photo stops near the Little Mermaid statue, Amalienborg Castle, where the Royal Family lives, are planned.
10:00 - 11:00
Our way continues with visits to such highlights as the Tivoli Gardens and the Town Hall Square. We go on to Christiansborg Palace, however, this is just a photo stop - no visit included. This Palace is located on a small island just a few hundred meters away from the main street of the city, and this is also a unique place where three government branches seat - the PM's office, the Supreme Court and the Parliament's House.
11:00 - 12:00
After we see the Christiansborg Palace (photo stop), then we go on to Stroget - the most famous street of Copenhagen. Both locals and visitors enjoy walking along this street, which is often called the backbone of the Danish capital. Coming to Kongens Nytorv, the open public square, we will continue to an entertainment district, built around the 300-year-old canals of Nyhavn. Nyhavn is translated as the "New Harbour" and it impresses most of its visitors with elegant boats and very lively colored townhouses.

Some time is reserved for you to explore the central Copenhagen on your own. You can use it either for some souvenir shopping or for a coffee break (self-pad) in one of Danish cafes before heading back to the port of Copenhagen.
