The Kon-Tiki Museum houses vessels and maps from the Kon-Tiki expedition, and a library. The museum was originally built to house the Kon-Tiki raft, made of balsa wood based on pre-Columbian model that Norwegian adventurer Thor Heyerdahl used to sail from Peru to Polynesia in 1947. Another boat in the museum is the Ra II, a vessel built of reeds according to Heyerdahl's perception of an ancient Egyptian seagoing boat.

Vigeland Park

Frogner Park is a public park, that used to be a part of Frogner Manor. The manor house is located in the south of the park, and houses the Oslo City Museum. The tour begins with a private minibus ride to Vigeland park, which is the world's largest sculpture park. It's been designed by a single artist, Gustav Vigeland with more than 200 bronze, granite and iron sculptures installed inside the complex.
11:30 - 12:00
Together with the guide, the group goes on to the Viking Ship Museum which is being considered the most popular museum in the Norway's capital. The exhibition here explains the Vikings' way of life, with many original wooden ships being older than a 1000 years old exposed to the public.
12:15 - 12:45
The walking part of the tour begins with the visit to Akershus, an old fortress in the center of Oslo. As we go on to the main street of the city, Karl Johansgt alley, we repeat the way King Christian the IVth went as he rebuilt this Nordic capital.
12:45 - 13:30
At the main street we will find multiple photo stops at such famous sights as the Oslo Cathedral, the Parliament Building, the National Theatre and the Royal Palace.
13:30 - 14:00
Also, we are going to have an outside visit to Oslo City Hall, which is located really close to the cruise port.

After the tour some free time is available for cruise tourists, so you are welcome to continue exploring the city center on your own.
