Visas

IMPORTANT: It is every cruise passenger’s responsibility to check Passport and Visa Requirements for all destinations on the cruise ship itinerary. Passport and Visa requirements may change and vary by destination. We regret we cannot accept any liability if you are refused entry into any country, or otherwise suffer any difficulties or incur any costs as a result of not having the correct passport and/or any required visa(s). Shore Excursions Center does not issue any refunds for passengers who have been denied entry because of non-compliance with Passport or Visa Requirements of the visited countries.

 

 European Union Citizens: 

 

NO visas are required for any of the destinations covered by the Shore Excursions Center - (Europe, the Baltics, Scandinavia and Russia). Please note that Visa-Free Entry to Russia is available only when you book tours with Shore Excursions Center. If you are planning on a fully independent exploration, then you need a Visitor’s Visa.

 

 US / UK / CANADA / AUSTRALIA Citizens:

 

For international cruise travel, citizens of the US, UK, Canada and Australia need a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond completion of the cruise. NO Visas are required for any of the destinations covered by the Shore Excursions Center - (Europe, the Baltics, Scandinavia and Russia). Please note that these rules only apply to cruise travel and stays under 90 days. Please note that Visa-Free Entry to Russia is available only when you book tours with Shore Excursions Center. If you are planning on a fully independent exploration, then you need a Visitor’s Visa.

 

Please note that if you are a Non-European Citizen, you might need a Schengen (EU) Visa to be able to participate in any tours in Europe, the Baltics and Scandinavia. United Kingdom is not a Schengen State member*. Please ensure you check your entry requirements for Europe prior to embarkation.


NO visas are required for cruise ship passengers of any nationality arriving at the port of Saint Petersburg by cruise ship/ferry and departing by the same means of transport. Please note that Visa-Free Entry to Russia is available only when you book tours with Shore Excursions Center. If you are planning on a fully independent exploration, then you need a Visitor’s Visa.


Schengen State members are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden, Switzerland and Liechtenstein
